Assistant: Private Equity

We have a great Assistant role based in the heart of Mayfair, London in a Private Equity firm. Our client is looking for someone who will be a good front-line ambassador for a new team as they build their business.

The company is a really exciting place for someone with at least 4 year's experience within the Investment industry. It's a unique time to become part of a newly formed team within a well established and lovely environment. Everyone at the company works together, they work hard and you will be really looked after. The role is varied and they want someone who really loves what they do. You will need to take ownership of your tasks, provide excellent support for your team, comprising a Partner, Director and Analyst.

The role

  • Complex diary management

  • Travel Management

  • Cover for other admins when needed

  • Help organising Board meetings

  • Liaising with Portfolio companies

  • Expenses

  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills

  • Updating the CRM

  • Help arranging offsite and events

  • Ad hoc tasks

Qualities

  • Acute attention to detail essential

  • Sharp

  • Enthusiastic, approaches the job with a smile

  • Resilience for changes or last minute things

  • Interest in what the team is doing (i.e. be curiosity about the deals/companies/private equity)

  • Willingness to work as part of a wider team and chip in to help other Admins

  • Flexibility

  • Desire to look after the team and recognise when they are super busy/stretched

  • Someone who loves the job and wants to be there

  • Ideally a Graduate or Secretarial Diploma Grad (e.g. Pitman, Quest, Oxford Media & Business School)

Base £45k
